Assembling of restaurant building in Nacka in full swing

Works are in full swing in Nacka, Sweden where we are building a restaurant and three houses in a new living quarter being built on the shore where customs area used to be. The project is a challenge because of its short deadline and very little space on the site. Also such projects highlight the advantages of prefabricated wooden houses. A short construction cycle is achieved by doing several phases simultaneosly while the first building is assembled we produce the next ones and meanwhile the foundations are prepared on-site. And since it is not possible to unload the trucks in the tight construction site, assembly is carried out directly from the truck.

SIA Zemgales tehnoloģiskais centrs (ZTC) has signed a contract to design, produce and assemble a restaurant and three residential houses in the suburb of Stockholm in Nacka, Sweden. Production of the construction elements of these prefabricated wooden houses started in January 2018.

The total indoor area of the two storey restaurant is 540 m2. Each of the three family houses is of 150 m2 of indoor area. In addition the project is very compact in time. Firstly with contract signed and designing starting in December. Secondly production starting in January. Thirdly on site work beginning in February and finally works are planned to finish by June.
