Private house project in Ireland (+reference)

Area: 193 m2
Floors: 1.5
ZTC has completed work on the construction of a beautifully designed private house in the middle of Ireland. The total area of the one-and-a-half-story house is 190m2.

Inside, 60 mm thick CLT panels with integrated corrugations have been used, along with custom CLT stairs, creating a cohesive and natural aesthetic throughout the interior. The exterior features a blend of softwood boards treated with Sioox and brick tile finishing, resulting in a harmonious and visually appealing facade. The gutters are seamlessly concealed, while the main section of the roof is covered with bitumen and finished with wood boards to achieve a continuous design flow with the facade.

The house’s expansive windows facing the courtyard, combined with the open-plan layout, imbue the space with a sense of lightness and openness. Stability is assured through a hybrid frame construction of glued laminated timber and metal plates with pin-joint connections and an advanced anchoring system. The CLT sliding doors, showcasing natural wood on both sides, further enhance the warmth and organic feel of the interior.

Scope of ZTC works

ZTC designed the wooden structures of the house, produced the construction structures and elements of the house, organized transportation to the object. ZTC employees assembled the house at the site.
