Vacation house near Geneva
Three storey vacation house project in a ski resort in France near Geneva. The vacation house was built on a sloped terrain so the ground floor is built in masonry. The custom design vacation house is 135 m2 of floor area on first and second floors.
The house design features many large windows that afford a great view of the valley down the slope all the while the house fits well into the scenery from the backyard side. Having the ground floor with larger area than higher floors allows for spacious terraces all around the building.
Production of the house started in July, assembling commenced in September and scope of ZTC works on site were finished by November meeting the deadlines of the client.
Scope of ZTC work
ZTC prepared the technical project for wooden constructions of the prefab wood house, produced the construction elements (panels with windows and doors already fitted in the factory and other elements) and organized transportation of the building kit including flat concrete roofing tiles from Monier and snow guards. A team of ZTC workers assembled the building on site, did air sealing and exterior finishing works such as siding with vertical wood boards.
Laying of foundation, construction of ground floo, interior engineering communications (piping, wiring) and interior finishing was organized by the client.
