Interdisciplinary Laboratory for the Institute of Construction and Woodworking

About this project
For the Institute of Construction and Woodworking's interdisciplinary laboratory in Jelgava, ZTC designed, manufactured and supplied insulated wall and roof panels with a combined surface area of 1,900 m². The panels were adapted to the building's load-bearing glulam frames, with 430 mm of insulation incorporated into the roof construction. Panel production took place alongside foundation works and fabrication of the structural frames, reducing the overall construction time. The 740 m² laboratory is intended for research into timber, timber products and structures.
