What CE and ETA mean in practice

CE marking and ETA-21/0014 show that the ZTC timber construction system has been assessed against European requirements. This supports compliance in the project but does not guarantee all local approvals. FSC and PEFC are available on request. ISO certification is not claimed. See Hundegger CNC production and CLT panels.

What certification covers and what it does not

The system supports

  • Use of a CE-marked timber construction system in the project.
  • ETA-21/0014 as a technical basis for European projects.
  • FSC or PEFC material requests by agreement.

Review separately

  • All local building authority or export market approvals automatically.
  • ISO certification — it is not claimed.
  • Architectural drawings and foundation construction — ZTC does not provide these.
