Panel production reduces on-site uncertainty

In a timber panel house, a major part of the structure is prepared in the factory with ±1 mm CNC precision rather than fully on site. This supports better control of insulation, membranes and assembly sequence. Compare with timber frame houses or timber frame house cost.

What ZTC provides for panel houses and what is planned separately

ZTC provides

  • Timber panel solutions based on the client or architect project.
  • Panel production in the 4,500 m² factory in Latvia with up to 30,000 m² of panels per year.
  • CNC processing with ±1 mm precision and a CE-marked system with ETA-21/0014.
  • The price includes panel delivery, assembly and worker transport to the site across Europe, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. The client provides accommodation for workers where needed and pays site costs: crane hire, scaffolding and site fencing. Delivery sequence, site access and assembly arrangements are agreed in the project quotation.

Planned separately

  • ZTC does not prepare architectural drawings.
  • ZTC does not build foundations.
  • Both packages exclude foundations and plinth, interior finishing including plasterboard installation, electrical installation, heating, water and drainage, and ventilation.

Panel house package: from factory to assembly

Panel house structures are prepared in the factory and delivered for site assembly. Panel specification and structural design are agreed before production; assembly sequence and site access are agreed before delivery. This helps define responsibilities between the panel manufacturer and other project contractors.

Both load-bearing and non-load-bearing internal walls are included in the panel package price. They consist of a timber frame with 12 mm OSB on one side; the other side remains open for subsequent work.
